The Cutest Cafe in Kensington: Cafe Jumo
The last time I was in London, my friend and I stayed in the cutest little area in Kensington, which has slowly become one of my favorite neighbourhoods in London. On our first day, we stumbled upon the most delicious and cute little cafe, Cafe Jumo. There were only a few tables in there, but luckily we got one and ended up coming back 2 more times over the next 4 days.
The first day I had a latte and the yogurt bowl. The yogurt was super thick and fluffy, topped with some fresh fruit, local honey, and homemade granola. It was so delicious. Something seemingly so simple, yet so easy to mess up in my opinion. This bowl was perfect.
The next 2 times we went, Hannah and I both got their avocado toast with poached eggs. Oh my gosh. This avocado toast was perfection every time. There is just something about the avocados in Europe that are 100x better than anything I have ever gotten in America. The spices they used, the perfect texture, the fresh sourdough bread, I dream of this avocado toast. The eggs were perfectly poached every time and it was the most amazing meal.
The employees here were super sweet too, which always makes the experience better. It was a family owned business and you could tell they sourced their food, coffee, and tea from the best places. I want to book another trip to London just to go back to Cafe Jumo!
